Katya began her swim career as a competitive swimmer for Mid Cities Arlington Swimming located in Texas at age 6.! She has taught swim lessons for all ages and abilities for over a decade., and founded Raleigh Swim School when she was just 22 years old.  Katya is American Red Cross Lifeguard Certified.

Lindsey has over 13 years of swim coaching/instructing experience. Lindsey has led a year-round swim team and is a certified USA Swim Coach. Lindsey founded Raleigh Swim School when she was just 26 years old. She is also American Red Cross Lifeguard certified and a Lifeguard Certification Trainer.  

Dalton has been our lead instructor since summer 2024! He teaches most of our parent & baby lessons and runs our Pups Swim Team. Dalton grew up swimming & has helped so many swimmers become water safe. Dalton is an App State Alumni and loves acting & playing pickle ball when he's not swimming! 

Luci is from Raleigh and graduated from NC State!  She has been swimming since 5 years old when she joined summer league swim team. She was also a year-round swimmer with Wave Swim Team.  She has been coaching for 15 years and loves being in & around water.  Luci also enjoys spending time with her friends & family, playing beach & indoor volleyball, reading books, attending musicals, comedy shows & concerts. 

Originally from NY,  Beth moved to NC after retiring in 2018 as a long-time restaurant owner in Connecticut. Prior to joining Raleigh Swim School, she worked for Wake County Public School Systems from 2019-2025. She loves working with children, and enjoys Yoga, Reading and Travel. 

Delaney has been working in customer relations for over 9 years. She graduated from OSU with a B.S. in Marketing and Management. Her joy is helping people & playing a role in every one of our swimmers success. She’s also from the friendly state, so her goal is to put a Texas sized smile on the face of everyone she meets. Delaney looks forward to the great future of RSS! 

Carlos is an NC State Student studying Political Science and is originally from New Jersey! Carlos grew up swimming and has taught lessons to all ages & abilities since he was a teenager. He also loves baseball and is excited to help his swimmers become stronger in the water!

Grace is a student at NC State studying Marine Science & Spanish! She is from Chicago where she has been swimming competitively since 1st grade. She has been teaching swim lessons to all ages and abilities for several years and is on the NC State Club Team. In her free time Grace enjoys scuba diving, baking & hanging with friends!

Rylan has been swimming for 15+ years. Rylan became a 3x Regional Champion, a State Champion & competed at the collegiate level. He is a Certified Lifeguard, & Lifeguard Instructor. Rylan also worked as an ocean rescue lifeguard along in the Outer Banks. Along with being an Eagle Scout, swim has played a major role in shaping his discipline, focus & passion for helping others. He loves working w/swimmers of all ages & abilities & takes pride in helping each student reach their goals in and out of the water.

Coach Tatianna is a former graduate and colligate athlete from Wingate University. She enjoys working with all the swimmers and staff at Raleigh Swim School! She looks forward to not only help the swimmers become more efficient and confident in the water but, also have fun while doing so! 

Cole is in college and has been a Red Cross lifeguard for 1 1/2 years. Lifeguard Cole has been swimming since he was a little kid ,and remembers always being in the water as a child. Cole is currently studying the field of radiology.

Bianca is a kinesiology student at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Bianca loves working out, spending time with her pets, and being outside. She loves being on the water and her favorite activity is paddle boarding! Bianca was a camp counselor in 2024 & is returning for Summer Camp 2025!!

Coach Belinda recently moved to NC from Long Island, NY. A fun fact about belinda is she has 5 nieces and nephews and 3 cats! Her favorite hobbies are swimming, reading and cooking !

Coach Remy did competitive swimming as a child for 13 years! Remy has a strong passion for the sport. Her favorite color is pink, she's Canadian American, and loves video games! 

Scotia is currently a year-round swimmer for YOTA and loves being in water. She has been teaching swim lessons and coaching for over 3 years and is super excited to teach help her swimmers become stronger & more safe in the water!

 Bryson is one of our summer camp counselors! He is completing his sophomore at Enloe High School and has been swimming since the age of 6! Bryson enjoys playing both football and baseball. He loves swimming because it’s an amazing way to relax. He is joining us for our 2025 Summer Camp!

Madison is an NC State Student studying biology & animal science, originally from Lincoln County, NC. Madison has held many positions in aquatics including instructing and coaching since the age of 16. Madison has been a competitive swimmer her whole life & loves to hike, take photos & be outside!

Olivia  is our summer lifeguard! She was originally born in Florida but has lived in North Carolina for most of her life. She has a younger brother and two dogs, Daphne and Datsyuk! Olivia grew up playing and watching sports. Olivia currently attends boarding school in Connecticut where she plays hockey, rows, and goes to school.

Kennedy is a swim instructor and camp counselor. Kennedy is originally from Cleveland Ohio and recently moved here. She has been swimming since the age of seven and loves the water and teaching. She’s super excited to be apart of this team and meet all the new families

 Itzel started synchro swim at the age of 8. (3x Olympic qualifier) She was a former member of the Mexican National Team & has extensive experience competing at the highest levels of the sport. She has coached for 2 years & has 2 university degrees, 1 in engineering and the other in accounting. She is currently taking a certification in cybersecurity & works as a financial auditor. She loves learning new things & if she's not in the pool or working, she's probably taking a course on her laptop.

Ann Marie began artistic swimming at 10! She swam varsity at Wheaton College (MA), where she majored in chemistry and captained the artistic swimming team in her senior year.  When she is not coaching, she can usually be found sending snail mail, playing Pokémon GO, or snuggling her two mini poodle mixes. 

 Ellie is originally from California and has been practicing artistic swimming since she was 8. She graduated from Kansas State University with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine and now works as an emergency veterinarian. She is very passionate about artistic swimming and is thrilled to be the assistant coach for the rhythm rays! 

Jannet is completing her senior year at Rolesville High School and has been swimming since she was 7. She’s been swimming competitively for many years. She loves working with kids and helping swimmers be able to reach their full potential in their swim skills. 

Hi I'm Meadow, I graduated from Virginia Tech in 2024 and now teach middle school here in Raleigh! I grew up around the water and have always had such a love for it! I've worked as a lifeguard, swam competitively, and coached a high school swim team! I'm super excited to teach lessons and watch my swimmers grow!! 

Hello! My name is Lesley Tran. I was born and raised in North Carolina. I’ve been swimming since I was eight years old and joined my local swim team when I was around eleven. I enjoy traveling and seeing new places with my family.

Albert has swam competitively since 12 years old.  He’s been a swim instructor/coach for 6 years. He loves cars. He’s likes teaching many kids, adolescents and adults to become a better and stronger swimmer.

Katie is originally from IN where she started teaching swim 15 years ago. She moved to NC in 2018 & has continued to be active in aquatics. When she isn’t in water, Katie can be found anywhere there is live music. She loves to support local musicians as well as perform her own original music. Her favorite artist to listen so when doing laps is The Beatles.
