Payment & Absence Policy
Program Overview
Our program is a continuous program. Therefore, once you have signed up for lessons, you will stay enrolled until you inform us that you are discontinuing lessons. If you are planning on discontinuing lessons, you must notify us by email at office@raleighswimschool.org or by phone at (919)651-3474 (2) weeks before the desired final lesson. You will receive an email confirming the cancellation of your lessons. If you do not receive an email confirmation, please contact us to confirm your cancellation.
There will be no refunds for a missed lesson. If there is an emergency absence(eg. death in the family, COVID, etc.) please contact us at your earliest convenience to discuss excusing your absence. Please do not ask us to make any exceptions. We reserve the right to change or cancel any class that does not fill. We will charge your card on file on the 1st of each month. Tuition will be prorated if there are fewer than 4 classes on a given month (holidays). If classes are cancelled by Raleigh Swim School you will receive a credit to your account for the cancelled class reflected on next months tuition. 
If the card on file is declined to us for any reason; payment is due at or before your next lesson. On the 10th of each month, we will review any outstanding payments and your account will incur a $10/day late payment fee starting on the 1st of the month. There are no exceptions to this policy. We reserve the right to remove a student from a class due to non-payment. We reserve the right to change or cancel any class at any time.
Tuition, Absences & Makeups

There will be a one-time registration fee of $30 per student enrolled in our swim program (Max $50 per family). Tuition rates may change depending on location, class size, etc. 
Students may be eligible to attend makeup lessons in groups by recording absences in the portal and emailing us at office@raleighswimschool.org with availability to reschedule your lesson. Our team will add you to our makeup waitlist and reach out if/when a class opens up within your availability. (If your swimmer has special needs, we will work
If you are enrolled in a group, you can now schedule your own makeup lessons through our app by navigating to your absences and clicking 'schedule makeup'. Any classes open for a makeup lesson for the next 7 days will be listed.
You will not be eligible for a makeup lesson if your absence is not entered into the portal ahead of time. You have 2 months to complete your makeup lessons from the date of the missed class. You are unable to makeup any lessons on your account after your drop date.

Makeup lessons are never guaranteed & are based on pool space & class absences.

Please do not ask us to make any exceptions. We reserve the right to change or cancel any class that does not fill. If you know of a future absence, please notify us through your parent portal. If you know in advance that your child will miss a number of lessons, or if your child will be out for an extended time due to illness or vacation, we recommend that you suspend your lessons. If you suspend your lessons for any reason, we cannot guarantee the same swim schedule or instructor when you are ready to return. We will do our best to accommodate you; however, some instructors and certain hours are difficult to get.
